“Love the life you live, live the life you love.” – Bob Marley
We need to start loving ourselves, as we keep on loving others and totally forget who we really are. To love yourself is to take care complete care of you – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The natural state of body is to be free of diseases and staying healthy. It is important to love the life you have, as this will generally improve your happiness. The most important decision of the life, the one that will an affect other decision you make, is the commitment to love and accept yourself. It directly affects the quality of your relationship, your work, your free time, your faith, and your future.
How to fall in love with your life…
Begin your day with love not with technology. Remind yourself of your worthiness before getting out of bed. Breathe in love and breathe out love. Enfold yourself in light.
Become aware of self neglect and rejection. Become conscious of your choices. Ask yourself several times throughout the day.
Plan one weekend or a month to get yourself out of the city, out of the country or at least out of front door of your house. Let the ever changing scenery of your life keeps you inspired and consistently reminded that there’s so much more tom the world that your everyday routine.
Give your life a chance to surprise you from time to time. Sometimes the things we’re most unsure of end up being the things we’re most grateful to have done.
Accept help from others/friends when they offer it. Accept compliments when they’re directed at you. Let yourself be loved in the tiny ways you don’t always allow yourself to be.
Dedicate some times to self improvements. Set aside an hour or two a week to chart out personal goals and projects. Become your own life coach and make self-improvement the priority that it deserves to be.
Give yourself active permission to let go of the mistakes you’ve mad, the paths you shouldn’t have walked down and all the ways in which your past let you down.
Pick a sport, a class, or an exercise regime that works for your body and then practice it as often as possible.
Train yourself to see the best part in people. Loving and appreciating others is a habit, just like anything else. Instead of immediately writing people off for their shortcomings. It lightens your mood and free up the part of your mind that is gradually reserved for the bitterness and judgement.
Took a look at those people who inspire you to be bigger, brighter, more positive version of yourself. If you not find any of them, it may be time to re-evaluate your friends group.
Music has massive effects on your mood and we can also use that to our advantages. So, we should listen to right kind of music by coordinating the music you’re listening to the mood you’d like to be in.
We all know that we feel better when we eat well, so give your body a boost. Pick a day of the week and add 2 more servings of vegetables than you normally would. Don’t get too ambitious if this is not natural for you. Stick to the extra servings just once a week.
Life is too serious sometimes. Watch outrageous comedy. Step outside your situation and watch life from the lens of a comedian.
Immerse yourself in something that will work your brain in a different way and then make someone else happy with the things you’ve created.
Build something with your hands; any kind of craft made you hands injects a very organic energy into your life. Find a project that does not require much time and energy into your life. Prefer something you can complete in a couple hours. There’s an innate need to create in all of us.
Smile often and everywhere. Smile because there is a lot to be thankful for. Smile because you are alive. Smile because you can brighten another’s day. Of course, smiling’s best friend is laughter, so laugh often, too.
Instead of hating and punishing your body, trying loving it, try to listen it, try to feeling it, exercising it makes you feel at inside of it and then love and appreciate it for all the incredible things it is capable of.
Self-rejection and neglect is painful. You deserve to be happy. You have a right to be accepted and loved. If necessary, seek help from a support group, counselor, or coach.
