I draw from the psychodynamic insight-oriented schools of psychology and have an interpersonal orientation that emphasizes how our childhood significantly impacts our relationship with the world. I work with young adults to engage sensitively with the range of human emotions, difficulties, and vulnerabilities they bring to therapy. My primary aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for the client to explore the challenges and nuances of life. My practice views the individual not as an isolated entity but in relation to the pervasive forces in their environment. To retain ethics in my line of work I access regular supervision and ongoing self-work in the form of personal therapy to ensure quality care to the people I work with.
